Guest Post by NA Author Beth Michele (In Which She Discusses Her Characters)

Love, love this cover! :)

Hi, my name is Beth Michele and I’m the author of a soon to be released new adult romance novel entitled Love Love.
I'm not sure from whence this story came, all I know is that it came fast (that sounds weird).  Inspiration didn't stop flowing until I filled up every crinkled piece of paper, every bank receipt, and every napkin.
When I told Gabrielle Willis, the main character in my story, that I was going to be on this blog (yes, I do talk to my characters), she pushed her way through and insisted she had something to say.  So far be it from me to hold her back.
Without further adieu, I introduce you to Gabrielle Willis.

“Hi, my name is Gabrielle, everyone calls me Gabby for short.  I'm in this new adult romance novel coming out called Love Love.  Wait, that's redundant and repetitive right?
Anyway, hopefully you've heard of it.
I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.  So, my name is Gabby.  Oh yeah, I already told you that.  I'm living in New York City now, but am originally from California.  Yeah, that's right, California.  Palm trees, persistent sunshine, hot guys, amazing beaches.  But I'm not there anymore.  I'm in New York City now, which is also freaking fantastic.  Energy, nightlife, great food, interesting people, and hot guys.  Oh, did I mention hot guys?  Sorry, I have a tendency to repeat myself.
I’m also a total klutz.  Put anything in my way, and I’ll trip over it or bang into it.  Either that or I’ll spill it, fling it across the room, well, you get the picture.
I'm a Libra, which is the sign of the scales.  Pretty ironic because I'm the most imbalanced person I've ever met. Can't make a decision to save my life, and can't juggle for anything. Other than that, I'm a really good human being.
I’ve had a bit of a tough life, but I take one day at a time and use my best coping mechanisms…The three C’s…Coffee, Candy, and Chocolate.
I love hot guys (press repeat), and I’m a sucker for a sense of humor.
I’ve got a lot to say, so check out my story to find out more…about me, and all the crazy characters I surround myself with.  It sounds like I’m full of myself.  I’m really not, I just like to talk…a lot.

Wow, that was quite a mouthful.  Thanks Gabby.  So check out Love Love to hear more about Gabby’s story.  It’s sexy, it’s sweet, it’s funny, and I think it might have a hot guy in it.

Synopsis of Love Love

Gabrielle Willis is smart. She's funny. And oh yes, she's a bit klutzy.

When Gabrielle leaves sunny California bound for the energy of Manhattan, she was willingly leaving the life she had known, for the new life she would create. But was she really leaving something behind, or was she running away.

On the outside Gabrielle Willis has it all under control. A new life in Manhattan, a great roommate, and a good job. But she was haunted. Haunted by a  memory she's tried to forget, and by a family who's abandoned her. But what happens when what's on the outside is only an illusion, and in perfect contradiction to what's buried deep within.

Enter Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell. Just what Gabby wants, or so she thinks. But when she meets Brad Dixon, the sweet guy with the crooked smile, he begins to make her see that the very thing she is trying to run from, is the very thing that just may push her to see the light.

Excerpt
We met our sophomore year of high school. I was standing at my locker in between classes and the hallway was packed. My head was buried in books when something crashed hard against my back. Turned out it was Gavin Boone, quarterback for our crappy football team.  He wasn’t looking where the hell he was going, lucky for me.  I was knocked to the ground, and when I looked up, I was met by baby blues and a forehead crinkle. Clark.

“You okay?”  He asked.

“Never better.”  I said, rolling my eyes, while trickles of pain were shooting up my spine.

In the midst of the run in, my bag spilled with all of my personal belongings. I watched in horror as the evidence of my adolescence covered the ground. Clark bent down to help me, and without batting an eye, proceeded to scoop up the Playtex Tampons and put them back in the box. Like he made a beeline right for them. I mean, who does that?  When he was done, he bumped my shoulder and shrugged his.  “It’s just life, right.”
