Greetings from California. I've been really busy trying to keep up with all of my deadlines in life, school, and publishing - so I felt like I needed to add a new article to Writing Belle detailing what's coming up on the WB Publishing schedule!
I hadn't put anything on the official calendar yet, because I honestly wasn't far enough along in the editorial or writing process with either of my manuscripts to set anything in stone. That being said, I'm closer to the finish line with a couple of my projects, so I can start setting dates, now!
Some Solid Information on Expedition 99
Holy smokin' cow, look at this rocking cover! Movie poster artist Ryan Cosgrove collaborated with me on this particular edition, and I am IN LOVE. It perfectly captures the story and my main character, Lt. Erin Colt.
I originally released one version of the cover for Expedition 99 last Fall. That 2020 cover will be used on the paperback edition (at least for now), and this space version will be used as the digital cover on Kindle, Nook, and Smashwords. I am going to get the book into the Google Play and Apple Store, too, so keep an eye out for that. The Official Pre-Order Date for Expedition 99 is April 30, 2021. It will be available to digitally pre-order at that time.
The official release will likely take place one month later - but I haven't finalized that yet. I have to make sure my editorial process stays on track before I can guarantee that...but once it hits pre-order, I HAVE to get it done, so yeah...it will happen!
There will be a special edition paperback available to buy on Amazon and through Barnes & Noble. The paperback will be a full wrap and specially formatted. I'll also be launching some autographed copies for sale over the holidays, later on.
Expedition 99 is the first installment in the Legion Collection. This is a brand new dystopian series that will be heavy on survival and romance. Set in 2100, the book is futuristic, gritty, and thrilling. I have been working really hard to give the book a slightly more adult feel, while still keeping it in the wheelhouse where my readers are generally comfortable.
There WILL be a digital book tour for Expedition 99, too, so keep an eye out for those sign ups in April.
Resurrection: Vengeful Dawn
The final Resurrection installment of the series, featuring good ol' Cassidy Hart, is set to release on July 23, 2021. I am absolutely slammed with work to get Expedition 99 released prior to this manuscript, so forgive me if there a week or two of delay in the process. I am doing my absolute best to keep up! VD will be available in both digital and print, as usual.
I am still writing the manuscript right now. As we get closer to July, I'll release more artwork, more excerpts, and more details about whether or not there will be a pre-order for this novel or not.
There will also be a digital book tour for the release of this novel, with opportunities to be entered into a couple of fun giveaways for electronic gifts!
