Daimon

Did you guys get a load of this gorgeous cover? I love the whole burning flower thing. It really ties in well to this novel - and you'll see why when you read it. Daimon, by Jennifer L. Armentrout, is a short prequel to the highly popular Half Blood that was released last year. It chronicles the devastating and equally exciting events of Alexandria's life before she returned to the Covenant and started engaging in Daimon-fighting training with a swoon-worthy instructor. Daimon starts off with Alexandria and her mom running from city to city - but from what, Alexandria isn't really sure. But wherever Mama goes, she goes. Enter the life of a pair of urban nomads. Nomads who happen to be half greek gods. Believe it. It took me less than an hour to read this short novella - and it was so exciting that I decided it could have been the first chapter to Half Blood and it would have been awesome.

The third book in the series, Pure, is being released in April. I'm actually participating in the Pure Blog Tour, so keep an eye out for my guest post on April 12th!
